Das war dann wohl doch etwas zu innovativ. *g*
“Beware of asking your students to “present their work innovatively” - you might just get stuck in cyber world. That’s what happened to technology tutors at Leeds Metropolitan University. Final-year undergraduates took their tutors’ request to heart and posted their project on Second Life, a parallel universe on the internet. To see the project, the academics had to create alter egos, known as avatars. These had to go through a short training course to enter the parallel universe. But this proved a little too “innovative” for the technology tutors, who could not pass this stage for a week.”
